St. Jude
St Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized
for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by late
entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical
communities around the world. No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance
are never asked to pay. St Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fund-raising organization.

ALSAC
ALSAC was founded in 1957 for the sole purpose of raising funds for the continued
support and maintenance of St. Jude. Thanks to the support of hundreds of thousands of volunteers and donors around the country,
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can pursue Danny Thomas' dream that " no child should die in the dawn of life."
Public contributions are the primary source of funds for the hospital. More than 85 percent of the revenues generated are
spent on current and future needs of the St. Jude.
