January 2011 Hope everyone had a great
Holiday. I went to Texas to spend Christmas with David and family and had to post pone
flight back due to weather, I actually spent 24 days with them. It really
was a wonderful time. SERC in Louisville was a good conference.
We had several from Tennessee, missed all who could not go. It is almost
time for Winter Council. “A WOMEN”S HEART IS A WORK OF ART” It will be in Greeneville
on February 19th. At the East Green Freewell Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. (Same Place
we have been before) We are going to keep simple like we did at Fall Council. Alpha Lambda is working on
workshops and I am sure they are going to be good ones. We will have registration at 8:30 with
a small board meeting at 9:00. If you have something that needs to be brought up to the Council please
let me know in advance. Meeting will start at 9:30. Hope
everyone has made it thru the Snows and cold weather. SPRING will come hopefully sooner than later.
Remember Convention will be April 29th thru May 1st Rhea Weaver
will be our IC Rep. Have not received the name for SERC yet. Remember
all the Sisters that are hurting, losses of loved ones and sickness. You are in my prayers daily.
